I never understood why this mod has the twinkling around nodes that haven't been melded. It makes it very hard for me to tell which nodes are untaken.

Sprites are pretty broken when you have 100% chance to retreat successfully.

The mass invisibility is very powerful because vs chaos/nature/sorcery wizards which usually don't have illusion immunity, you cast it once, it cannot be dispelled and they cannot see or target your units until the end of battle unless they are right next to them and even then they have -20% to hit. vs the chaos spawns however it will be useless because they have illusion immunity.

The reason for the raiders and sprites being so resilient and strong at about 3h of the gameplay was because Nature global event that gave them +2 def, attack and resistance in addition to the nature node aura bonuses.

Interesting game, the archaic UI is lovely and low fidelity, which works towards brain detox effect I find :D If this game were to receive some investment to modernize it I'm sure it would become a major hit.

I thought that I screwed up on the video editing and got the wrong resolutions settings but looking at it I think the resolution I recorded in was the wrong resolution so oh well, there's some black space at the sides and top and bottom. I'll try to fix this going forward.

Thought I'd go back and play this after watching your video. I didn't remember how limiting buying things were. I had all the money I needed, but there was never enough stock to buy, never enough soldiers to hire. I assume it's part of the game balance. But it's a very different experience from the classic XCOM, that's for sure.

Speaking about Eador with Warrior, maybe make a note of this video. Couldn't find a tutorial, but found this(not in english), should be an adequate warrior start tutorial, Expert difficulty. To learn, try reloading the same fights until you win. Really need to take the combat slow, it's more involved than master of magic, or homm 3. Repair single items at a time, only if required, to save gold. Carry spare weapon, armor etc. Some timestamps with fights, also note the levelups, not getting armor was unlucky: 32:28 one 0 lvl warrior + merc vs. 3 barbs 39:00 hard fight, basic chain warrior with brigands vs. 8 rebels (unlucky rebels, too strong) 42:00 simple fight vs. brigands 44:56 same 8 rebels, loss again 50:10 rebels but now with armor 53:20 again, different tactic 58:10 again, draw(finished off, xp is lost) 1:04:25 undead fight, money from previous fight was used for armor 1:20:00 barb fight 1:26:20 fight vs. orcs 1:30:40 defeating the Knightly Order. 2:00 the funniest coincidence is that New Reno Arms dealer also have dogs yapping in the back if you break into his house. You can then go to the basement for Algernon, the best upgrader in the game (everything upgradeable can be upgraded for free with ammo refill!) as well as some awesome loots (earliest access to electronic lockpick and 2 pulse grenades allows you to get past the locked elevator and sentry bot to get the bozar and mark II combat armor from the toxic cave).

Can slavedriver’s summoned kobold slave or demonologist’s summoned imp be sacrificed for the purpose of the spells needing a unit sacrifice?

It's a little but funny to watch someone play the game on hardest diff. while he has just some vague ideas of how game mechanics work. Alien Tactical Equipment is just based on Tactical Points, Alien Aircraft is based on Time and Alien Aircraft Equipment is based on Ufo Shutdown Score. During all Videos I just want to say: thats not how stuff works whenever AbsoluteZero explains something or wonders why something doesnt work. But still nice to see this game covered! Hey, hope you're feeling better, here is some things I noted: The deleted items were very good(esp. the bloodsucker/vampirism things) - equip warrior(max the defenses), stand in top left corner, hit rest when stamina is below ~7.(Doesn't work vs. heavy shooters, poison) In battle, hold alt and hover over units for quick info. In battle, select own unit, and hover over attack, defense etc to see bonus breakdown e.g. morale boost, or stamina penalty. Karma of leader affects units morale - very low karma makes good units(e.g. swordsman) suffer a morale penalty, and the other way around. Provinces are based on minimum distance from any castle, your or AI - further away from closest castle, stronger stuff inside. Also, useless summon kobold ritual. Need unit to sacrafice for Devil. Useless kobold ritual.. hmm.

@AbsoluteZero sorry for being unrelated, but have you considered playing Songs of Conquest now that it's finally released ? alot has changed since you touched it (the live stream I saw was 2 years ago ~).

Hey,i wonder how u can deal with this kinda map?everythings heavily guarded,resources were limited..its good to see u tackle a hard map,but this kinda crazy hard map?!!its kinda lame man,really..its impossible at the highest order

I love this game. But it clearly suffered from lack of beta testers. The guy is level 30 with 200+ in each attribute, still cant clear a dungeon with ease.

That healing summon has IMO been the mvp of this game. Prolonged so many of your troops for a very long time and made you be able to take fights at low health.

I don't like the PvP,, solo gaming like this on some normal maps is most entertaining for me. One map I can recommend is Gelea's Champions, my favorite M map. How challenging is dependent on the luck with the spells and artifacts, also It have very good layout and ensure huge battle in the end with the last guy.
